The Bacurau

The Bacurau is a night-active bird. There exist different kinds of this family all over the world.
Here in this area we can hear him singing almost every night with his characteristic repetitive cries. Particularly by moonshine he is very active.
He does not build a nest like other birds. He incubates on the ground and lives of insects.
Some members of this family are already on the list of endangered species.
